DAYCARE
Are dogs supervised during daycare?
Yes, there are daycare attendants with the dogs.

How do I enroll my dog in daycare?
Fill out the 3 required forms on this page - www.goldstardogs.com/daycare
Email those forms to us, along with their vaccine records and clean fecal report (make sure the fecal exam includes a giardia test). Then we will set up a meet and greet, if your dog passes the meet and greet they can enroll in daycare. The first month is a trial period, so we suggest not purchasing packages for the first 30 days.

How long are meet and greets?
Our meet and greets are typically 4 hours long. Dogs must be dropped off between 8am and 12pm.

Can my dog be fed meals?
Yes, we can feed your dog if you bring their food with them and provide written instructions.

Do you accept intact or pregnant dogs?
We do not accept pregnant dogs or bitches in heat at daycare. Dog are not required to be spayed or neutered unless behavior issues arise.
Training

Can the whole family attend training classes?
We encourage family members to attend to encourage your whole family to be consistent with dog training. Young children should be supervised closely and reminded of safe behavior around dogs - walking, not yelling, ask to pet, etc.

If I miss a class, can I do a make up?
We don't have the availability to offer make up classes.

WHAT AGE SHOULD I START TRAINING MY DOG?
It's never too late to start training! We work with dogs of all ages, and encourage you to get your puppy into classes ASAP. The first few weeks you get your puppy are crucial for socialization, our puppy classes are appropriate for dogs as young as 8 weeks.

MY DOG HAS REACTIVITY OR AGGRESSION ISSUES, WHAT TRAINING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
We require an initial private lesson evaluation for any dog with reactivity issues.

Can my dog attend class if she is in heat?​
Yes, dogs can attend in heat as long as they wear pants.
